For 25 years, Thomas served as a welder for the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union 190, where he was recognized not only for his skill but also for his dedication to his craft. His colleagues knew him as a reliable worker who approached each day with a strong work ethic and a friendly demeanor.

Outside of his professional life, Thomas had a variety of interests that brought joy to him and those around him. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time in nature and appreciating the tranquility it offered. Thomas is survived by his loving sisters, Helen (Joe) Soehren and Susan (Robert) Houk, who will remember him fondly and carry forward his spirit of kindness and camaraderie. He is predeceased by his parents, Howard and Sarah, as well as his children, Christina Wells and Dale Wells. Thomas also mourned the loss of his sister, Deborah Kitson, whose memory he held dear.
