Timothy Joseph Kause Sr., born on February 10, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on September 23, 2024. A dedicated and skilled machine repairman, he spent an impressive 33 years working for Chrysler Stamping plants across Metro Detroit, where his contributions were highly valued by both colleagues and management.
Tim graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School in 1958 laying the foundation for a life filled with hard work, family devotion, and memorable adventures. Known for his vibrant spirit and generous heart, he was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. His presence brought joy to all who knew him, and his spirit will be deeply missed by those whose lives he touched.
In his retirement, Tim and his wife, Bernice, embarked on numerous adventures together, creating lasting memories with their travels to Las Vegas and cruises to destinations such as Hawaii, Bermuda, and the Caribbean. They enjoyed wintering in Florida, where they embraced the warmth of both the sun and friendships they built along the way.
An exceptional bowler at various points in his life, Tim's true passion lay in golf. He organized an annual golf weekend for family and friends that recently celebrated its remarkable 35th year. His love for the game forged connections and provided enjoyment for many. Tim was also an active member of the Moose Lodge of St. Clair Shores, participating in various lodge activities, particularly line dancing, which he and Bernice thoroughly enjoyed. Their vibrant social life was filled with laughter, good times, and cherished friendships.
Tim is survived by his children: Timothy Jr. Kause (Shari) of Lake in the Hills, IL, Anthony Kause (Gloria) of Brownstown, MI, Jeffrey (Dianna) Kause of Chelsea, MI, and Michele Tinsley (Ken) of Warren, MI. He taken in pride in his role as a grandfather to Anthony Jr. (Rachel), Vincent, Victoria, Samantha, Dalton, Tyler, Zachray, Julia, and his great grandson, Liam. Other survivors include his sister Janet Pawl of Port Austin, MI and his brother, David Kause of Ocala, FL. Tim also embraced the role of a step-father to Cheryl McLellen of Coswell, MI, and was a loving grandfather to Crystal, Jeff, Nichole, Ashely, and great grandfather to their children. Tim's niece, Laurie Stevenson, held a cherished place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bernice (Dillian), with whom he shared 36 wonderful years, and his nephew, John Ivkov Jr.
Timothy Joseph Kause Sr. leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. He will always be remembered for his kindness, adventurous spirit, and devotion to his family and friends.
