Todd Michael Pozzi, age 58 of Bellaire, Michigan died Wednesday March 3, 2021 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan. Todd was born January 24, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Robert D. Pozzi and Madelyn (nee: Gleason) Pozzi.
Todd was raised in Sterling Heights on Chatsworth Street where he formed his closest bonds and friendships that he considered his extended family throughout his entire life. While living in Sterling Heights, Todd attended Filmore grade school and later Bishop Foley Catholic high school. Todd continued his education at Phoenix University where he attained his bachelor's degree in business administration. Todd worked as a vice-president for Synchrony Financial within the information technology department.
For his entire life Todd lived large... he loved to play outside from his early childhood until his last days. Todd loved living in northern Michigan spending his time snowmobiling, playing Hockey, four wheeling, and skiing. His passion in everything he did was to go full speed… "Go big or go home". In addition to his very vibrant passion of living life to its fullest, Todd was a highly intelligent, kind, and giving person with a huge heart.
Todd is survived by his loving parents Robert "Bob" & Madelyn "Maggie" Pozzi, along with his cherished daughter Amanda Pozzi, and his former wife Rene' Pozzi. Further survivors of Todd include his sister Lisa (Michael) Genslak, his life partner Deborah Jensen and her daughter Nicole Jensen. Todd was the dear uncle of Paige, Monica, and Mitchell Genslak. Todd was pre-deceased by his brother Chad Pozzi and is also survived by Chad's wife Ole, and many loving family members and friends.
A Memorial Mass for Todd will be held Thursday March 11th, at St. Kieran Catholic Church 53600 Mound Road, in Shelby Township, MI. Todd's family will welcome family and friends from 10:30am until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11:00am.
