Vance Meeks, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 51. Vance was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 20, 1972. He was a man of many talents and loved by everyone who had the pleasure to meet him.
Vance's career was centered around his passion for being an HVAC technician. He worked tirelessly at Horstman to ensure that his duties were fulfilled with utmost dedication and perfection. His hard work and expertise made him a beloved colleague and a valuable asset to the company.
Outside his job description, Vance had many hobbies that he cherished dearly. He enjoyed visiting family out of state and going to shooting ranges. In his leisure time, he would fix cars and cuddle with his wife Jenny and their dog Bella on the couch while watching movies. Vance was always up for anything that involved spending quality time with his loved ones.
Vance is survived by his wife, Jenny Meeks; son Vance Jacob Meeks; grandson Boyd Meeks - who were all very dear to him; He is also survived by his father Donald L. Meeks; brother Donnie Meeks; sisters Michelle Anello (Vince Anello), Lisa Hamer (Mike Hamer); stepmother Bev Dietz; sister in law Tammy Woodall (Doug Woodall), and many nieces and nephews, friends, and his beloved dog, Bella.
Vance's mother, Marlene Horn, has preceded him in death but her love for her son always remained an eternal part of Vance's life. Throughout his life journey - Marlene remained a guiding light for him.
Vance seized every moment throughout his life and never let any moment go without leaving an impact on those around him. His passion for life was contagious, and he inspired everyone to live a positive and loving life. His family, friends, and colleagues will forever cherish the memories they have shared with him.
We celebrate Vance's life today, and honor his many achievements. He was a son who made his parents proud, a brother who never failed to make his siblings laugh, a husband who stood by his wife through thick and thin, a father who cherished every moment spent with his son and grandson. A friend who was always there for anyone in need. The world lost an exceptional human being on June 24th. Vance will be dearly missed but his love never forgotten. Rest in peace Vance Meeks.
