Victoria Helen Stevens, affectionately known as Vicki to many, passed away on April 14, 2024, in New Baltimore, Michigan. She was born on November 2, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Richard and Helen Sproul.
Professionally, Victoria made a lasting impact as a School Administrator for Chippewa Valley Schools. Her dedication to education and unwavering commitment to the students and staff left an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Outside of her career, Victoria was a devoted wife to Larry Stevens for 48 years and the pillar of strength and support to her children and grandchildren. She was an active member of her community, known for her role as an Awana Leader, where she positively influenced the lives of numerous young individuals. Her unwavering faith shone through her involvement with Lighthouse Bible Church, where she provided spiritual guidance and strength to those around her.
Victoria is survived by her loving husband Larry Stevens; son Ryan (Olga) Stevens; daughter Rachel (Nicholas) Schade; grandchildren Cooper, MacKenzie, Luis, Olivia, Ethan, Riley; sister Joan (Vic) Schroeder; brother Rick (Kathy) Sproul; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother George Sproul.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on April 18, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lighthouse Bible Church in New Baltimore. Following this will be a Funeral Service starting at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Victoria's warmth, compassion, and dedication will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
