Vita Josephine Bartolotta, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on June 19, 2026, at the age of 98.
Born on September 10, 1927, Vita lived a long and beautiful life centered on family, love, faith, and resilience. She was the heart of her family and found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved. Her warmth, strength, wisdom, and sense of humor touched generations and created countless cherished memories that will live on forever.
Vita was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Rosario "Russ" Bartolotta, beloved son, Anthony Bartolotta, daughter-in-law, Cynthia Bartolotta, parents, Josephine and John Biondo; brother, Russell Biondo; and sister, Anne Marie Biondo.
She is survived by her loving children, Frances, Josephine, John Bartolotta and daughter-in-law Raeann Bartolotta; sister, Kathleen Ciolino; cherished grandchildren, Antoinette Bartolotta (Mark Callis), Terese Bartolotta, Sara (Rogelio) Castillo, Stacey Bartolotta (Chris Bradway), Carley (William) Phillips, Angello Bartolotta, John Bartolotta II; her adored great-grandchildren, Giovanni, Brayden, Codey, and Liam.
Vita also held a special place in her heart for the many beloved family pets who brought her joy throughout the years, including her treasured grand-kitties and grand-puppies.
Those who knew Vita will remember her unwavering love for her family, her generous spirit, and the comfort she brought to everyone around her. She taught by example the importance of kindness, loyalty, perseverance, and unconditional love. Her legacy will continue through the generations she nurtured and the countless lives she touched.
Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we take comfort in knowing she has been reunited with those who went before her. Her love remains woven into the fabric of her family and will continue to guide them for years to come.
Vita will be deeply missed and forever loved.
